Byron Carrasco, DPM completed his undergraduate studies in Hunter College, New York and received his doctorate from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2007. After completing three years of residency at Wyckoff Hospital in New York City, with emphasis in surgery and diabetic limb salvage, Dr. Carrasco stayed and served as part of the residency teaching staff.
He then moved to the San Francisco Bay area to a practice affiliated with John Muir Medical Center and Healogic’s Wound Care Center.
Dr. Carrasco enjoys extending his profession to community service, and to teaching. Socially, he is a self-proclaimed foodie—eating his way from New York to Hawai‘i, learning new cultures, and is a fan of the arts.
He recently relocated to Hawai‘i, to join his wife and family. Dr. Carrasco is currently on staff at The Queen’s
Medical Center.
